Method: How To Start

We always recommend starting with private lessons especially if there are any problem areas or injuries.
On your First Session:

We will discuss your general medical history, lifestyle and postural details.

We will show you in great detail how to breathe correctly and engage the core stabilising muscles, and aim to integrate this knowledge into some simple basic exercises.
Even if you have prior Pilates experience, you will need to have at least one private lesson to enable us to assess your knowledge and proficiency. Only then can we accurately recommend the appropriate level and class structure for your maximum benefit.
To achieve a firm foundation and to attain, maintain and enjoy a high level of fitness, vitality and well being we highly recommend TWO to THREE classes per week.

What to Wear:
Non-restrictive, comfortable clothing and socks. Trainers are not required.
